TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE - APP USER

These are the terms and conditions of use for a location member that has downloaded and is using the Luggage Drop application.

Prerequisite
The Luggage Drop application is for business use only. All site users must be a business of any type, with a physical location, where customers can interact. If you do not fall into this category, then you must remove this application from your device.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the following is deemed to be understood and agreed by you, the application and website user, for us, the company:
1. The site user shall at all times, act reasonably, fairly and honestly with its luggage drop customers.
2. You must, at all times, ensure stored items are kept securely away from the public and free from damage, contaminants and spillages.
3. The company has a fair use policy which you, the site user, must adhere to this policy.
4. You must, at all times, use this application in a way that's not detrimental to this company. 
5. You must not attempt to use or download multiple copies of this application for use at the same location.
6. Free credits are to ensure this application is suitable for you. Free credits are limited to one batch per location and retain no monetary value. Where extra free credits have been obtained, the company can remove without notice.
7. The company has and takes no responsibility for any monies collected by the registered application user.
8. The company bears no responsibility for any LUGGAGE COVER added to any booking. The payment of any subsequent claims for luggage cover is the sole responsibility of the registered application user.
9. The company bears no responsibility where luggage is collected late, or not collected at all, on the date and time specified on the customer’s receipt. This includes but is not limited to an instance where the customer is late or misses their travel arrangements due to non collection of their luggage.
10. You must ensure, at all times, that the hours of operation or opening hours, match the hours printed or shown on receipts or verbally arranged with the customer. Where the customer has not been able to collect luggage due to inaccurate opening hours, or when you have closed earlier than the time specified to your customer, you shall be entirely responsible. You must liaise with the customer to ensure a solution is reached.
11. In cases where your customer has missed a transport link, such as a train or a flight, it should be determined whether the customer was late or whether you did close at the times you specify on the receipt. If the customer is at fault, then they must arrange with you, at their own expense, the best way to resolve the problem. If you are at fault, by the reason named above, then you have the responsibility to resolve the problem directly with the customer, at your own expense.
12. You have full control over all Luggage Drop site policies including pricing and storage periods. Any monies collected from all luggage policies and extras, including late fee payments, belong to the site member. The company will charge for credits once any free credits, if given, have been used. Charges for credits are clearly explained and can be purchased by in application purchase and via your online administration console using Paypal or bank transfer.
13. You are responsible for username and password security at your location. You may give the password to authorised site users at your own discretion. If you suspect your login details are compromised by either a member of staff leaving or left in view of the public, then please follow the application prompts and change your password. The company shall take no responsibility for any username or password abuse. Please ensure these are only given to trusted colleagues and keep them in a safe place.
14. When joining Luggage Drop, you are also given access to your online administration console. Using this console, you can change site information and access various help sections. You cannot use this console for customer transactions, which must be done via the application. If using a windows computer at your location, you must also download the Luggage Drop application from Microsoft Store and use for customer transactions.
15. From time to time, the application will be updated with improvements, additions, fixes and security updates. Some or all of these updates may be deemed as critical updates, which must be updated to use the application. For these critical updates, it is within our rights to restrict the use of the app until the update has been successfully updated on your app device. For a critical update, it would be our opinion, that the update is required for the app to function in a correct manner and be secure. Full access and functionality shall return once the update has completed. On any update, it may be the case that the app will need to restart and log you out. Please ensure that all site users have access to your Luggage Drop username and password to enable them to log back in. Once logged back in, Luggage Drop will retain this logged in status until, another critical update is required, or you log out manually. 
16. The company has the right to remove access to the application for reasons of application misuse. The company decision is final. Reasons for such actions shall be supplied on request. Refunds of credits on account are determined after removal of the amount of free credits previously given. Reasons for such actions shall be supplied on request.
17. General account closures where credits exist and a refund requested are subject to a fair administration fee, determined by the amount of free credits used against the amount of paid credits used. Credit refunds are available by contacting Luggage Drop administration.
18. If you do not agree and accept these terms and conditions, you shall not be able to open and activate your account. Where you have decided not to proceed with this account, the application should be completely removed or deleted from your device. The company bears no responsibility, where the application has not been removed or deleted. This includes but is not limited to location or any other data obtained from your device.
19. A copy of the customer terms and conditions must be given to every customer. Email receipts contain the customer terms and conditions. Photograph receipts provide customer terms by selecting terms at the receipt stage. If using a point of sale printer, the terms are provided on a second receipt, which must also be given to the customer, along with the storage receipt.
Where a customer has requested a copy of the customer terms before entering into a transaction, this can be obtained via the application under the section "customer terms". Customer terms give three options to supply a copy of the storage terms to a customer and shall use either the default terms, or any user terms as set on the application.
20. Customer Terms & Conditions applicable to your customers. These are changed automatically from time to time as and when appropriate. We advise the continued use of the Luggage Drop default customer terms and conditions. You can add and use your own customer terms and conditions in the relevant section of your account. We take no responsibility for the content of user created customer terms and conditions.
 
Luggage, bag, baggage, case, rucksack, pram, bicycle, coat, item refers to a storage item, which can also be plural. No other items can be accepted. No living or dead animals and plants, food stuff requiring refrigeration, dangerous, hazardous, fragile, prohibited by law, or any liquids that may leak, can be accepted for storage. Bags must be secured by a lock or a security tag or seal. No valuables of any kind should be left in the item. Please do not leave items such as identification, travel documents or tickets needed for travel, in your luggage.
Luggage cover is not included for the basic price. Luggage cover can be purchased for an additional fee at participating sites. Ask the site for details of participation. Luggage cover will cover your luggage for loss of the luggage only, and not individual items within your luggage. Luggage cover is one fee covering all items as a total cover and not individually. As we do not examine your item for damage on arrival, no claim will be entered into for damage to your item. Your items will be handled properly and stored safely. Photo images may be taken to indentify your items but are not used to record the condition on the item. If a security seal is provided, we recommend that you take a photo of the security seal number. Some locations may require you to open your luggage to inspect the contents before it is accepted, for security reasons. Locations can choose not to accept items for any reason including size. Please ensure you collect your items before your collection date and time expires. If you collect your items after your time has expired, the site is entitled, at its own discretion, to charge a full period fee for each item and for each late period. Your receipt is either POS printed, an email or a photo receipt. You must retain and show your receipt when collecting your items. You may be asked to provide identification when dropping off your item and again on collection.
Failure to show your receipt may delay your items being returned until the site is satisfied that the bag belongs to you.
If luggage or items are collected late or not collected at all and this causes any issues with your travel arrangements, then the full responsibility and any expenses incurred in resolving the issue, is determined by whether the location closed earlier than advertised, or you were late collecting. Luggage Drop or any other trading or limited name of the company, bears no responsibility for your items.

PRIVACY OF YOUR DETAILS AND DEVICES.
CAMERA FUNCTION OF YOUR DEVICE
For the application to work to it’s best potential, the application requires access to your device camera. This must be accepted to allow scanning of QR codes on customer receipts on collection. Each receipt contains unique details of the customers booking, which is easily accessed by using the device camera when prompted.
These are the only uses of the camera on your device. Luggage Drop can still work without this access being given but would considerably reduce the applications efficiency.

YOUR CURRENT LOCATION
For the application to work to its best potential, the application may require to know your location. You have the option of accepting or denying this request. We may use your location to help with security of our systems and to help customers locate your site.

YOUR LOCATION DETAILS
When joining Luggage Drop we ask for your location name and address. This is mainly used on your customer receipts. We also use these details to populate our Locate a member section of our website. Your details may also be used by this company to contact or communicate with you directly. Your details must be accurate to ensure customers can find you. We do not pass any of your details to third parties. 

YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS
Any personal details taken when opening your account, or obtained after, such as your name or personal contact details, are not shown on the Luggage Drop network listing or publically. These details, including your associated email address is only available to the company and company representatives.

GOOGLE SEARCH

"Luggage Drop" is a do it yourself luggage storage application. For this reason, it is strongly encouraged and advised to promote your location on the internet as much as possible. One of the best ways to do this is by using a Google My Business listing for your location. This listing is presently a free tool, provided by Google, the most used search engine in the world. The more tourists that can find you, the more Luggage Drop customers you will get.

For this to happen, you need to have a Luggage Drop listing on Google My Business. On creating an account with Luggage Drop you are authorising us to create a new listing, for your location, on Google My Business.
This listing shall not affect any other listing you may already have on Google My Business for your core business. You shall have no access to this listing. Any existing listing should be managed as normal with your existing login. 

When we create your listing we will,

- automatically or manually populate the new Google my business listing.
- we will check then use the business name and address as you have given when setting up your account.
- we will include your business telephone number if you have entered one, or we may add our own company telephone number.
- we shall include the domain luggagedrop.co with the listing.
- we shall add the Google category of luggage storage facilities to the listing.
- we shall add a brief generic service description and suitable company images and logo.

Where we have had to manually register a new Google my business listing, it may be required that Google sends a verification code directly to you.
 If this were to happen, Google would either send a verification code,
- by post to your business address
- by automated telephone call, if you have supplied a telephone number.

This code is required to verify your new Google my business listing. Once verified, your location will show on a local Google search for Luggage storage.
Please advise colleagues that a Google my business verification code for "Luggage Drop" may arrive by one of these methods and ask them to keep or take note of the code.

HOW TO VERIFY GOOGLE MY BUSINESS

If you receive a verification code, please enter this code directly into the application at the Google search button or login to your administration console and add to the Google search section.
Once this is done, it may take several days for your listing to become live. It is advisable to check your listing is live on the Google search network, from time to time.

Where verification doesn't happen, please follow the instructions in Google search area to order another verification code.

REMOVAL OF GOOGLE MY BUSINESS LISTING

Before you take this action, please be aware that this free listing is intended to help your business. New customers found through a Google search can not only bring extra income from your Luggage storage, but can also increase your core business activity. This listing will not affect any other listing you already have with Google. This is a separate listing.

We will remove your listing if,

- you don't require the listing
- you don't want to act as a Luggage Drop location
- you have been removed by the company as a Luggage Drop location

If you require your Google my business listing removed, then please email us with, 

- username on account and business address.
- confirm the associated email address.
- confirm whether Google my business listing is to be removed.
- confirm whether Luggage Drop account is to be closed.

We will aim to complete your request within 14 days from the date we receive your email.

DIGITAL DEVICE IDENTIFIERS
The company uses various techniques and systems to identify devices using the application, which can vary from time to time. These techniques include but are not limited to,
 
1. Location Verification - Using a combination of user entered address, postcode and country data versus current location, historic data entries, Geo location, tagging and coding to verify locations. This helps the company ensure application security and restrict application abuse.
 
2. Geolocation (or Geo Location) - the process or technique of identifying the geographical location of a device by means of digital information processed via the Internet by either wireless fidelity (wifi) or mobile network. The company uses this data to ensure application security and to ensure the device is used at the location address entered.
 
3. Geotagging (or Geo Tagging) - is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as a photograph. This data usually consists of latitude and longitude coordinates, though they can also include altitude, bearing, distance, accuracy data, and place names, and perhaps a time stamp. The company uses this to ensure application security by using this data where a location has added a location street image. This data is compared to the location registration address, with some allowance on distance.

4. Geocoding (or Geo Coding) - is the process of converting addresses (like a street address) into geographic coordinates (like latitude and longitude), which you can use to place markers on a map, or position the map.
Reverse geocoding is the process of converting geographic coordinates into a human-readable address. This data is the location address of the business that you enter when opening an account or edit at a later date. The company uses this data to ensure application security and prevent application abuse.

The company shall not use, at anytime or for any purpose, MAC (Media Access Control), IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) or any other similar identifiers.

By accepting these terms, you agree and accept that retrieving, storing, accessing and obtaining any such data does not breach your data or privacy rights. The company shall ensure that any data is only used for application enhancement and security, furthermore, it shall not be passed to any third party. This acceptance is applicable to all countries that Luggage Drop operates from and is applicable to all application users.

MARKETING
The company may, from time to time, partner with companies who provide services we deem applicable to your customers. We shall advertise these companies, where appropriate, on the customer booking receipts.
If you do not want these adverts to show, then please contact us to request removal at, admin@touristcutomerservices.com, stating your site details.

Tourist Customer Services Limited is an authorised developer for Apple, Google and Microsoft.

CODE OF CONDUCT – SITE MEMBER

Fair Use Policy.
When using the Luggage Drop application, the following policies must be used by the site user or controlling member.

1. The registered user of the application is fully responsible for the day to day running and use of the application.
2. The registered user shall at all times, ensure all staff members, who have been given permission by the registered user to use the application, have been fully trained in the use and policies of the application.
3. The registered user and any authorised users, must ensure at all times that the application is not used in a way that could cause the customer any monetary loss. This includes any way that the user has over charged its customer for use of the service.
4. Luggage Drop has no control over pricing or site policy. On this basis, if Luggage Drop feels policies added and used by the registered user are not reasonable or fair, we shall advise the same to the registered user.
5. If the LUGGAGE COVER policy is used, the registered user is liable to pay the customer, if the luggage is lost, the amount as per the luggage cover amount added. If you can't guarantee it, then don't do it. Please be fully aware of what Luggage Cover policy actually is, before you use it. The company has no responsibility for lost luggage.
6. If Luggage Drop needs to disable a registered user, we would confirm it would be our last option, as we would not want to take this action. 
7. Luggage Drop is a network of like minded businesses, all trying to survive. On this basis, any actions of a registered user ,or assigned users, which is detrimental to the company, would mean closure of the application account.
